FINALLY... Thanksgiving break came!!!! Derryck and I went to Houston to spend it with my family and to work on some much needed wedding stuff.. I thought about taking some pictures throughout our busy appointments, but I didn't want to spoil the fun and surprises for the wedding! Sorry!!! But anywho... I was kind of worried about how the dogs would behave with Bo (my parents westie). He has always been an only dog, and the dogs we've brought in the past... well lets just say it consisted of constant chasing and didn't go well. But I figure, Boo is a girl and Charlie is just a little puppy.. and Bo is just an old man ( 9 yrs!). Once we introduced the pups.... it was hilarious! Since Bo has never been around other dogs, he had NO IDEA how to play... and Charlie, bless his little heart... had a field day in the toy basket! He and the toys were EVERYWHERE! It looked like a tornado blew threw the family room every night. I told D that we definitely need to get a better basket for Charlie! HAHA!

And a Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same unless we dressed the kids up again... and yes.. Boo and Charlie have matching outfits!!! They do not say the same thing, but I think it's hilarious. So did my mom!

And then, Derryck and my mom decided that it would be a grrreat idea to see what Bo would do in an outfit.. ( This was definitely uncharted territory! ) And of course they used Boo's outfit... And yes... talk about stretchin that baby out! Bo was definitely showin off the muscles for Boo I guess. I think he liked it though!

I do believe that Charlie had a great time visiting the grandparents! My mom also thought it was a good idea to put him in a little carriage. Poor little guy had no idea what was going on... he wanted out! But I still thought it was cute since he is so little. And what more can I say about my dad! He ABSOLUTELY loved Charlie! He kept picking him up every second that he got! And all I would see is little Charlie just a waggin his tail as fast as it would go! I think part of it was that he is a puppy.. not so sure how different it would be when Char gets bigger... but we'll see!

On Turkey Day.. I do wish I took more pics!! I did get a few of some of my fav family members! I'm still wondering why my fam didn't take a family picture of all of us together like the Hagerty's!!! Bummer... I guess I'll learn for next Turkey day! Anywho... my cousin Cara's little boy, Landon, who is also in our wedding, came to our house! He is just too precious!! And ALL over the place! That kid does not stop! Cara and Adam definitely have their hands full now that they are expecting again!! I guess we'll see what happens when the wedding comes!!!=)

I, unfortunately, have to leave H-town early to get back to school.. but before I left, I had to stop by Grandma and Grandpa's for some Gold Star Pasta... and mmmmm was it good!!! We got to watch some football and leave like we gained 10 pounds!! But it is sooo worth it!! and D gets to spend the next 3 days with a bunch of moms for wedding plans! LOVE IT!!!! I know he is definitely looking forward to it! But even though I won't get to be there, they will hopefully find a rehearsal dinner place amongst other plans! Now for the long drive back to Lubbock! I cancelled my flight to stay another day, and I'm catching a ride with my bestie and Maid of Honor, Megan! She already told me that they got a bunch of books on tape... oh yay!
